Evangel Oputa is the founder of Begine Fusion, a digital adoption and growth consultancy working across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Nigeria, and co-founder of OnStack AI Labs, an applied AI lab in Calgary.
Begine Fusion started in Lagos in 2013 as H.W.G Services, a digital marketing company, and was rebranded and registered in Canada in 2020. Oputa also co-founded 6ixth Ideas Technologies, a custom software and enterprise systems company. Earlier still, Oputa built a career in India as a model, dancer and actor and founded a talent agency there, which was the first business built from the ground up.
The work is systems. Process mapping, CRM and data architecture, automation, AI workflows and the governance around them: understanding how an organization's work actually runs before deciding which technology belongs in it.
Begine Fusion became a CDAP Digital Advisor in 2022. Oputa hosts the One Thing About Life podcast, has taught marketing and entrepreneurship at Robertson College, and speaks on digital adoption, AI and growth strategy.
